Paint what moves me

Hello! I'm Alicia Inés Caffarini, although in the art world they know me as Allika.

I am a teacher of drawing and painting, graduated from the National School of Fine Arts. My artistic path began in the field of advertising, where I learned to communicate ideas through images. Over time, I discovered that my true search was in painting and other forms of creation, such as the making of jewelry pieces in Polymer Clay, where art and jewelry are found.

Creating is, for me, a way of observing and connecting. Each work is born from an experience, an image or a detail capable of awakening something. Nature is my main source of inspiration: its shapes, its textures, its changes and its way of being always on the move.

Since I moved to Spain, and especially to Galicia, its landscapes have deeply renewed my desire to paint. The forests, the sea and the light of its coasts feed my imagination and appear, in different ways, in each of my works.
